The Downtown Farmers Market at Ancestor Square is held every Saturday, from 9 AM to 12 PM in the parking lot at Ancestor Square, located at St. George Blvd. and Main Street in Historic Downtown St. George.
The Market features a variety of vendors from all over Washington and Iron County, selling seasonal produce such as fruits and vegetables, free-range beef, pork, and lamb, cheeses such as goat, feta, gouda and cheddar, free-range organic eggs, local honey, granola, live plants, herbs, fabric goods, soaps & lotions, jewelry, woodwork, hot coffee, pastries and more. Anything and everything homegrown, homemade and/or locally produced.
Noon. The Market is open to the public to enjoy the music and the beautiful Southern Utah mornings. This is a place to do your weekly shopping for produce, shop for gifts, artwork or a new plant for the yard, enjoy breakfast and some local Southern Utah music.
St George Gingerbread House Parade *Fundraiser*

The St. George Gingerbread House Parade tour kicks off December 2nd with the City of St. George Town Square’s annual Christmas lighting and continues through December 14th. The tour ends with the annual Holiday Market at Ancestor Square from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM. During the tour, Dec 2nd –13th, participating businesses will showcase uniquely crafted gingerbread houses. Visitors may cast votes for their favorite house. The gingerbread houses will remain at the area businesses for two weeks and then will be moved to the Holiday Market for the fundraiser. The best Gingerbread house baker will win a prize of $300. At this event, the participating businesses have included items or services to be auctioned together with the Gingerbread Houses, and a bake sale, and every penny earned will benefit the St. George Children’s Museum. The parade tour and entry to the Holiday Market are free and are a great activity for all ages.
