With its deep Mormon roots, Dixie State College in St. George, Utah is a four-year university with a vibrant campus life and a beautiful landscape with fountains, parks, fields, statues and state-of-the art facilities. The college offers bachelor and associates degrees in a diversity of academic programs, NCAA Division II athletics and an exciting cultural atmosphere with two concert halls, art galleries, and theaters. Dixie State is home of the Sears Art Museum Gallery, Tanner Amphitheatre, Utah Symphony Orchestra and the Raging Red Show Choir.

Culture & Art

Dixie State offers a variety of cultural activities, including live theater, music concerts, performing arts and art exhibits at acclaimed venues, such as the Sears Art Museum Gallery, Eccles Concert Hall and the Cox Center for the Performing Arts. The Cox Center is a 1200-seat theater which presents concerts and events – from opera to rock - and has featured Ballet West and the Utah Symphony. Surrounded by the cliffs of Zion National Park, O. C. Tanner Amphitheater presents summer concerts and symphonies.

Football & Sports

Competing in the NCAA Division II of the Pacific West Conference, Dixie State College is home of several national sports champions. The Red Storm football team consistently achieves a top 10 ranking and the basketball team has been number one in the nation. Dixie’s baseball and soccer teams have also attained national success, and the Dixie Rotary Bowl is held at the college annually.
