Nestled in the Dixie National Forest in Utah, Brain Head Resort is a pristine alpine destination surrounded by majestic views of red rocks and colorful canyons. With Utah's highest base elevation, Brian Head is an amazing winter ski and snowboard destination with two mountains, Giant Steps and Navajo, 650 acres of ski terrain, 71 runs, terrain parks, and 360 inches of powdery snow.
In the summer, the resort offers exciting adventures, including miles of hiking and mountain biking trails, lift rides, disc golf and a free fall jump. Ride to the 10,920 foot peak of Giant Steps to experience the pristine natural beauty of Utah's mountains and enchanting red rock vistas.

Skiing & Snowboarding

Nestled in two majestic mountains, Giant Steps and Navajo, Brian Head is a spectacular ski, snowboard and tubing destination. With Utah’s highest base elevation, Brian Head Resort offers 360 inches of powdery snow, 650 acres of terrain, 71 ski runs, 8 lifts, 3 terrain parks and a 600 foot vertical drop. Both mountains offer base lodges, multiple ski lifts and equipment rentals. The Winter Season generally runs from mid-November through mid-April. Season passes are available.

Summer Adventures

In the summer, Brian Head is a breathtaking playground for mountain biking, hiking, scenic lift rides, and geo-caching. Play the 18-hole disc golf course, hike the scenic Vista Trail and enjoy an adrenaline rush on the Brian Head Free Fall. Ride the lift to the top of Giant Steps at 10,920 feet with amazing views of southern Utah’s red rock scenery and Dixie National Forest. Trek through the resort’s 14 hiking and biking trails or ride the bike terrain park with jumps, drops, ladders, walls and natural challenges.

    The Winter Sports School at Brian head Resort offers private, group and kid’s ski and snowboard instruction. Whether you are a beginner or want to elevate your technique, professional ski instructors offer expert lessons and tips on freestyle, jumping, all mountain and alpine. A two-hour group lesson is $98!

    Brain Head is a magical winter wonderland packed with fun activities in the white, sugary snow. Enjoy the thrill of night skiing, snow tubing, and x-country adventures. Enjoy snowboarding in three lighted terrain parks - Bypass, Detour and Foundations.
